Prepared by Hunger Free Oklahoma, this resource helps families with children ages 1-18 find a meal site near them during school closures due to COVID-19.
Tulsa Public Schools (TPS) Mobile Meals (Tulsa area)
In addition to the curbside meals listed on the website for TPS and other schools districts, TPS’s “Mobile Meals” drive-through service will run ongoing. TPS buses will park at around 170 stops throughout the city and provide to-go meals to all children ages 18 and under. Buses will park for about five minutes or until the last meal is served. The service schedule is 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on weekdays. Meals provided are:
● Monday through Thursday: Lunch and breakfast for the following day
● Friday: Lunch and breakfast for the following Monday
Emergency Infant Services (EIS) (Tulsa area)

EIS is located downtown at 1110 S. Denver Ave. and is currently assisting families with children ages 5 and under receive food, diapers, wipes and formula via curbside service. Call for information on whether EIS services are available at the South Tulsa Community House or Tulsa Dream Center.

Hunger Free Oklahoma is coordinating a variety of food resources and information to help Oklahoma families during the COVID-19 shutdown. You can find information, including meal sites, at their website. The SNAP hotline listed is available from 8am-8pm Monday through Saturday.
Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

The Food Bank continues to distribute food and other grocery items to around 350 partner agencies in eastern Oklahoma, including food pantries, emergency shelters, soup kitchens, senior citizen centers and after-school programs. Visit their website to find a location nearest you.

I lost my job. What do I do now?
You can file a new claim for unemployment assistance with the State of Oklahoma online. Unemployment Insurance pays benefits to workers who have lost their job through no fault of their own. Anyone who is separated from a job may file a claim for unemployment benefits.

If you have a fever or cough, you might have COVID-19. Most people have mild illness and are able to recover at home. If you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, contact your healthcare provider immediately.

Customers are encouraged to use these online tools rather than physically coming to an office at this time. All programs and services of the safety net operated by OKDHS are currently operating. The main website may be used for SNAP (formerly “food stamps”), childcare subsidy, medical assistance, temporary assistance for needy families (TANF) and assistance to the aged, blind and disabled (ABD). Customers may apply for or pay for child support via www.okbenefits.org.
