The Last Waltz

Event Details

The Leftover Last Waltz will take place on Saturday, November 21st at 6:30 p.m. This year, Admiral Twin Drive-In will play host to an exclusive screening of "The Last Waltz," by Martin Scorsese.

"The Last Waltz" documents The Band's final performance at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, California on Thanksgiving Day, 1976. Scorsese's camera explores and captures the emotions and interactions of the artists on stage, while offstage, his interviews with The Band's members provides an unbelievable perspective of life on the road and The Band’s journey. With appearances by some of the most influential artists in rock n' roll history, such as Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Eric Clapton, presenting an amazing look at one of the greatest rock n' roll concerts of all time.

All of the money raised and the donations accepted through The Leftover Last Waltz will go directly to support and fund the education initiatives of The Woody Guthrie Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Proceeds from the event will be used to provide the youth of Tulsa with an opportunity to explore their creativity and empower them to find their own voice.  Additionally, after school programs and summer music camps will be directly impacted by the proceeds generated from The Leftover Last Waltz.
