Event Details
2020 Tulsa Artist Fellowship Arts Integration Award recipient Anita Fields is featured in the second iteration of STOREFRONT, a series of artistic interventions occurring in commercial spaces in Tulsa, OK, presented by Tulsa Artist Fellowship. This community-based, visual arts collaboration connected individuals through the power of the arts during the Covid-19 pandemic. Over 140 participants working in isolation examine the void left by our absence at family dinners, feasts and community gatherings.
Fields' window installation is now on view at 107 M.L.K. Jr Blvd. (just west of Que Gusto) through January 30th, 2021. This public artwork is free and open to the public. Visitors are invited to visit the installation anytime. Tulsa Artist Fellowship welcomes people with disabilities. For questions about accessibility or to request an accommodation, please email carolin
[email protected] or call 918-591-2461. Requests should be made at least one-week prior to viewing.
With the belief that arts are critical to the advancement of cultural citizenship, Tulsa Artist Fellowship supports both local and national artists while enriching the Tulsa community. Tulsa Artist Fellowship is a George Kaiser Family Foundation initiative.
