Every three years, the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) hosts the highly competitive program, Art 365, in which five Oklahoma-based creative proposals are selected to complete innovative artwork in consultation with a nationally recognized curator.
In an unprecedented model for the region, each project received $12,000 and one year of curatorial guidance with guest curator, Grace Deveney, the associate curator of Prospect.5 in New Orleans. The program culminates with exhibitions in both Tulsa and Oklahoma City.
Listed below are the 2021 selected artists:
Ginnie Baer // Edmond, OK
Marwin Begaye & Maggie Boyett // Norman & Oklahoma City, OK
Crystal Z Campbell // Oklahoma City, OK
Naima Lowe // Tulsa, OK
Mirella Martinez // Stillwater, OK
