People's Picnic

Event Details

"People's Picnic: A Demonstration Demanding Discussion" addresses the whitewashing of Tulsa's history. Presented by the Center for Public Secrets, speakers include Kristi Williams, Abby Broyles, Eli Grayson and Fraser Kastner, whose article "Monumental Malice" discusses the Owen Park monument commemorating the Tulsa Association of Pioneers. With music from King Cabbage Brass Band (as the Tvlse Jazz Pirates) and event MC Evan Hughes.
