About Cabin Boys Brewery
According to the crew at Cabin Boys, “it all started with a cabin in the woods.” Jeff McIllroy and his son Austin built a log cabin in Catoosa, Oklahoma in 2010 using local lumber and resources. With the help of family and friends the cabin was constructed and became a gathering place to celebrate milestones and savor the smaller moments in life. Wanting to create a similar community space, Cabin Boys Brewery was born in the fall of 2017.
Cabin Boys’ rustic vibes are enhanced with the elegant, yet down-to-earth wooden bar and chalkboard-style menu. Adjacent to the taproom is the brewing area, which features a large open space for fooseball, table tennis, cornhol and trivia on Thursdays. Their large parking lot/patio area hosts yard games in the summertime and fall.
Entering the parking lot for a game of cornhole, you might be distracted by the smell of freshly smoked meat. 1907 BBQ, the food truck in residence, dishes out ribs, potato salad, and Nashville-style hot chicken daily, with brunch on the weekends. Pair the grub at 1907 with Cabin Boys’ light Cast-A-Line Kolsch in the dog days of summer. The Bearded Theologian, their Belgian Quadrupel, is perfect when you need a little more warmth in your belly. Coming to cozy up during the winter? Try the “gustingling,” a hot brand thrown into your beer to caramelize the beer’s sugars, creating a sweet, mallowy foam. A taster of the original beer is provided for reference.
